Taking a dip at The Sukhothai Bangkok’s pool has taken a new twist this summer, as all-natural Mövenpick ice cream arrives on an all-day poolside trolley, delivering dips from a frosty rainbow of velvety flavours right to the guest’s lounger.
From now The Sukhothai’s Pool Terrace Café & Bar is rolling out a trolley brimming with a range of Mövenpick’s classic flavours including vanilla dream, Swiss chocolate, strawberry, maple walnut and espresso croquant along with their délices de fruit like passion fruit mango for THB180++ per cup.
Mövenpick ice creams use only natural ingredients that are carefully selected from the world’s best crops and processed in a traditional way. Its délices de fruit are prepared with purée to achieve an authentic taste and creamy consistency.
The Sukhothai General Manager George Benney said: “Not only are Mövenpick’s ice creams renown for their Swiss perfection and passion in creating rich tastes, but colour, texture and all-natural ingredients shows Mövenpick takes everything into account.”
Serving Mövenpick ice creams requires the same attention that fine wines demand. It must be stored at minus 18°C or less, but can be raised to a temperature between minus 14°C and minus 12°C for scooping.
Mövenpick joins Spa Botanica’s Poolside Massage Service in the casual environment surrounding the hotel’s pool as it continues its transformation into a total relaxation area.
